current shenzhen voa costs

Question

I have read some reports online that the price for the special Shenzen VOA has increased substantially. Would you please be able to confirm whether the current price is still 168 RMB per person, or whether that amount has gone up?If it makes any difference, I am Canadian and I intend to visit Shenzhen as a tourist with my family - we are staying in Hong Kong.I would be grateful for any information you coulud provide.

Roger, it has not been officially announced that the price will go up. However, the price may be different for citizens of certains countries. As far as I know, if you apply Chinese entry permit in foreign countries, the fees for US and Canandian citizens are a little bit higher because of bilateral policies. Thank you, Jeff. I appreciate the response.I would be willing to take my family for 168 RMB per person, but not for much more than that as we have children and we would only be across the border for a few hours in any event. I suppose I will just inquire about the price when I get to HK.
