About:China Customs Declaration

I am planning to go to china for leisure. can i bring any gold ornaments from there?

As a normal traveller can i bring any laptop, camera or gold from china to india or do have to declare those things?

Manu, according to the rule, you need to sign the declaration form. If your camera and laptop are over CNY5000, then you should mention them on the form. In this way, you won't have trouble when you take them out of China. However, the customs usually seldom check your camera and laptop when you exit.

As for gold ornaments, if you carry more than 50g, then you should declare at the customs.
