About:Zhangjiajie Travel

We are in China for about 2 weeks visiting beijing, xian, shanghai and hong kong

hotels and flights already booked. Now we also read about zhangjiajie and were wondering if it is worth to go there for just 1 day. We would like to visit Tianmen Mountain in the morning and also have a quick look at the National Forest Park in the afternoon. Do you think that is possible to do in just 1 full day? We also read about a new glass bridge opening in july 2015, do you know in which national park it is located? Thank you a lot for your help! Markus

If you just want to go to Tianmen Mountain and a short scan in national forest park, one day is enough. The glass bridge is located east side of Tianmen Mountain scenic area, and as I know, the glass bridge has been open to visitors, you can have a try.
