About:China Visa Application Requirements

My country of citizenship has no Chinese consulate

Hello, my husband lives and works in china. can i obtain a chinese visa in houston with a tourist visa from the US? or do i need to be a us citizen to get a s1 type, since my country has not Chinese consulate? please help me i ma travelling june 15th. I only have a B1 type from the US.

Nathan, you have a chance to get the S1 type from the consulate in Hoston. The US B1 type can be used to prove that you are staying in the US legally so that you can apply from there.
