Help on finding an authentic shaolin monastary to stay

Hi! I will be travelling to China in July and would like to add a stay in a Shaolin or another buddhist monastary to my stay. I am female and would like to spend some time learing about buddhism as well as learing Tai chi. Are there any inexpensive monastaries a woman can stay in? I am travelling independently and on a very tight Budget. Do you have any tips for me?

Oh, I understand. Actually, Shaolin Temple in Denfeng is a good choice for you, and as I know, the temple has special room for tourists, and you need to pay fee for that. In the Shaolin Temple scenic area, there are also many budget hotels around, where you can stay.

In the temple, you can learn Buddhism and Shaolin Kung Fu, but I’m afraid you cannot see Tai Chi there, for Tai Chi belongs to Taoism but not Buddhism.
