Hi May I know the drive to Dali from kuming for 4 to 5 hours is it mountainous n dangerous?

It will be safe, but a bit mountainous. If you worry a lot about that, you can take a night train instead. The travel time is about 6-7 hours, and it is more comfotable and safer.1

Thanks Sue. Anybody knows if there are transit rooms at the changshui Airport. the reason that I m arriving at nite n taking an early flight to Dali Next morning. Thank you0

Do you mean somewhere you could have a rest? If so, you can use the hourly lounge, located in the domestic departure area on 2nd floor. It was CNY50 in 2012 when I was there; maybe somehow higher now.0
