About:Embassy & Consulates of India in China

My passport is going to expire on july 2016 , but i want to extend that next month , Is it possible?

Mukesh, in principle, application for a new passport is required to be submitted at least two months before the date of expiry of the current passport to facilitate processing of the application and issue of new passport in time. So if it's convenient for you, you can apply for a new passport this month, but it's OK if you apply next month.
