For your travels, I suggest you spend in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai and Dalian. And the recommended route is Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Shanghai - Beijing - Dalian. You are suggested to make full use of the bullet trains.
In Guangzhou, the White Cloud Mountain and Chimelong Resort are must-goes. In Shenzhen, the Window of the World, Happy Valley and Splendid China are recommended. In Shanghai, the Bund, Nanjing Road, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, and Yuyuan Garden are great destinations. In Beijing, the Forbidden City & Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven and Wangfujing attract a lot of people. In Dalian, the Bathing Paradise should not be missed as well as the Bangchuidao Scenic Area.
