About:Qibao Ancient Town

Are Qibao and Zhujiajiao Ancient Town similar?

We do not have much time in Shanghai and I wonder if te two ancient towns shared similar characteristics. Or which one is more worth a visit?

Well, yes, these two scenic spots share some similarities.
But it's suggested to go to Zhujiajiao Scenic Area because you can appreciate more beautiful natural scenery. And Zhujiajiao is the most representative water town in SH. So it's absolutely worth to go there.

If you are looking for a quick trip, definitely Qibao. It is more tourist friendly and simply reeks tradition . However if you have more time, Zhujiajiao is my favorite. It is much quieter. It is quite a way out so you will want to include more travel time in your itinerary. QB is more in town. I'd say it is a half day excursion while Zhujaijiao is a full day. I usually take guests to QB. It is just right!

I love Zhujaijiao best, while Qibao has all the quirky little museums that are fun to poke around it, also.
