2、“Invitation Letter for Tourist” from Chinese Tourist Bureau
3、Travel itinerary
4、Company covering letter for each member(if applicable)

Yes, you still need the invitation letter from Chinese tourist bureau and travel itinerary. I previously read that some people were refused for not abling to provide the invitation letter I mentioned. However, you could contact Chinese embassy to confirm this. These requirements are listed on the website of Chinese embassy in your country.
