best plan for us to visit Fuzhou, Mekong, Vietnam & Cambodia from Canada

From Canada, we want to visit our son in that city, then go on to a river cruise on the Mekong, then visit Vietnam and Cambodia. Two or three days there is enough, then 12 to 14 days for the rest of our travel is good. Your suggestions would be appreciated.
