Hi, it is fine to visit in Jan. It will be a little cold, so pack warm clothes. Little rain will happen, which is good for an easy sightseeing. Also there are not that crowds there. Just enjoy yourself!As I know, one tour to the mountain can easily be found in Chengdu. You are suggested to turn to a hotel in town. They will arrange vans to the scenic area and the price is reasonable.
