About:China Private Visit Visa

S2 visa or tourist type?

I have all the documents to visit my brother in China on S2 type. but people are suggesting me that tourist type is less hassle. Is it true that they send all the papers for third party validations before issuing S2 type? because i don't have much time to wait.

Parul, it is true that they will send documents provided by your brother to third parties for validation. Well, how long do you intend to stay in China? If it's less than three months, you are suggested to get the tourist L type.
