About:

Bus ticket to Shangri-la from Kunming

Just wondering is it necessary to book the long haul bus ticket from west bus station to Shangri-la on 16 May 2015 (Saturday night)? Can i just go there and buy it an hour before it departs? Will be coming from Changshui airport.
I have a hard time to book it as well if I wanted to as the website does required local ID.

Well, generally speaking, you just need to buy the tickets when you arriving at the bus station.
In usual time, there are enough tickets for you to choose. Don't worry.
The bus depature times are 08:30, 09:30, 14:00, 18:30, 20:00 and 20:30. And you still suggested to get to the West Bus Station early.
