About:China Civil Aviation - Regulations & Security Check

What is the allowed weight now as far as poundage is concerned?

I am travelling to the Philippines from Denver, Colorado this coming September with friends who will compete a Pistol match competition in the Philippines. I travelled once with China Air with 8 kilos or 17 pounds of ammo in my checked in luggage. Your kind response is greatly appreciated.

Roger, it depends on which airline you fly with and what seat you take (first class, business class or economy class). According to my knowledge, most Chinese airlines set 32kg for first and business class seats and 23kg for economy class seat.
