Taïwan-Beijing-Hong Kong-Taïwan

Hi,

I am a student in Taiwan, French passport holder.I need to go to Beijing for an interview and then to come back to Taiwan. If in the way back I stay in Hong Kong for 1-2 days am I eligible for the 72 hours visa exemption ?
