About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Hi I want to apply for a Q1 or Q2

Hi I am Australian and my wife is currently living in China. I want to apply for a Q1 or Q2. Do I need a medical certificate for both visa's and are the medical certs done in Australia where I am applying for the visa. Thanks

Hey, David! Generally speaking, the medical certificate is not required for the application of both Q1 and Q2. However, if you get the Q1 type, you should convert it into a temporary residence permit after you enter China. During this conversion process, a medical report issued by designated hospitals in PRC is required.
