public transport beijing - jinshanlingsimatai west - back to downtown

Question

Hi, Visiting in a few weeks time, planning to do the highly recommended hiking from Jinshanling to Simatai West.Could you please advise public transportation and costs for a same day journey from BJ to Jinshanling and back from Simatai West to the downtown taking into consideration a min. 4h hiking time? Your prompt answer is greatly appreciated.

Opposite the exit C of Wangjingxi Subway Station of line 15, one direct tourist bus leaves for Jinshanling each day. It leaves at 08:00 in the morning and gets back at 15:00. The single trip takes around 2h and costs CNY32 per person. Then hike for around 4h and you will be at SMT Section. Then at SMT Village Station, take bus no. Mi38 or 51 to Miyun West Bridge, where transfer to bus no. 980 to Dongzhimen. The bus fare for the back trip is no more than CNY15 per person.
