Rizabeth, I personally think you should apply for S type rather than L type. The L type usually has 30 days duration of stay. However, S types have longer duration of stay (S2 less than 180 days and S1 is more than 180 days).
After he acquires the Z type, he can send you the invitation letter, copies of his passport information page and his resident permit. For you, you should provide the kinship certificate (marriage certificate and birth certificate). The salary amount isn't required. However, if you got the S1 type, your duration of stay actually has something to do with your husband's salary. If he earns more, then you can gain longer period of stay.
