About:Marriage Registration in China

Is there anyway we get married without the family book?

Am a Malaysian divorcee with a chinese girlfriend of legal marrying age but parents object.

If you want your marriage recognized by Chinese law, your girlfriend has to submit her family book at the civil affair department.
