72 hours Transit visa apply?

Hi,

I plan to do a 3 months visit in Wudang area and most likely fly in from Europe to Wuhan directly. I don't know yet if there might be a stop over anywhere in China.
But in any way at the end of the 3 months I would like to fly from Wuhan to Beijing and visit the city. The flight to Europe would be done from Capital Airport.

The question is now:
Does the 72 hours Transit policy apply?

Many thanks in advance!

Sven, you will stay in Wudang for three months, right? You have to get a valid visa before this travel. And this entry permit can be used to enter Beijing. I don't think you'll need to apply for the 72-hour free transit service.

Hi Hillary!

Many thanks for your feedback!
Yes, true, I am going to have a "X2" students type (which is one for less than 180 days).
So I suppose that I just can book a hotel in Beijing without anything else and that's it.

Many thanks again, regards,
Sven
