Ningxia and Gansu province dialects

Ali, of course they speak different dialects in Gansu and Ningxia. You know, sometimes people from two different villages even speak different dialects. But you needn't be very worried. Chinese mandarin has been widely used. If you speak Chinese mandarin, most of them can understand what you talk about.

In Xinjiang, there are several ethnic minorities. They speak their languages, for example, Uighur. However, people living in big cities can understand Chinese mandarin too.
