About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit in Guangzhou. Am I ok with 72 hours free transit?

Can I enjoy 72 hour transit policy on an Australian Passport for One way ticket from Kuala Lampur to Guangzhou (air asia) and Guangzhou to Singapore (Tiger Airways).

Note: I have onward flight from Singapore to Sydney same day.

If your answer is yes please can you tell me what makes you so sure becuase I dont want to just land in and be deported on the basis of bad advice. Thanks for your help.

Danish, the 72 hour free transit policy applies to you even you hold separate one ways tickets to and from Guangzhou. If you are doubtful abour this, I suggest you contact the Guangzhou Immigration Office for a double check. The number is 0086-20-36066950.

just to clarify guys, I am confused because I have one way ticket to and from Guangzhou rather than one complete booking.
