About:China Student Visa

Can I enter China on a tourist visa then apply for a student type soon after I get there?

Hi! I'm going in late July but school doesn't start until September.

Landon, it's possible to change the tourist L type into the student X type after you arrive. However, there is not 100% of possibility for you to get it changed successfully. I suggest you apply for the X type directly. As long as you get the X type, you can enter China.
