Best way for a group of 9 to travel from Hong Kong to Kaiping?

We can not read/write Chinese and will visit our "home" village as well as see other sights. We will spend 2/3 days there and would like a interpreter/guide when we are there. We are aware there is a bus from HK to Kaiping but wondering if it would be better to take a private minibus from HK? Also can we hire an interpreter/driver and minibus in Kaiping to get around?

Well, you are suggested to take long-distance bus at New Town Plaza of Sha Tin (Yizheng in Royal Park Hotel side), Causeway Bay Times Square, Mongkok Prince Edward, Tai Wai or Tsuen Wan Tak Hoi Street, and get off at Shui Kou Bus Station or Yi Ci Bus Station.
The bus has enough space to put on your luggages. So this way is safer than hiring a private minibus.

After arriving, you can see whether if there are some English Tour Guide at the bus station. Or you can ask help for the Community of this website. There are lots of people that maybe can provide some help. Good luck!
