changsha railway to south railway station

Question

Is there a subway between these two stations? And If yes how far is the entrance to the subway from  CS Railway?I have a train that leave from south station 50 minutes after I arrive in the main station.

Yes, you can take the subway line 2 from the railway station to South Railway Station directly. Take the Exit 1. It is about 7 miles between these two stations. And the travel time is about 25 mins around. While taking a taxi may be a bit faster, about CNY15 – 18 mins.Your time may be not enough, for it takes some time to get out of the station and go through the security check in line.
