About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Is transit permit required from China for attending the meeting at hanoi on official visit

I am taking the New Delhi to Guangzhou. after staying 3 hours at Guangzhou airport, i would take flight for hanoi, Viet Nam. Is it necessary to take transit visa from China.

No, it's not necessary, because you are eligible for the 24-hour direct transit policy.
