About:Hangzhou Travel

From Genting Star Hotel Hangzhou, Qiutao Road

Hi! Please guide me to these places from my hotel:

1. to west lake.
2. How to go to Shanghai from HZ? Which train should I take? Should I buy the ticket in advance or on the day of the trip? I plan for a 1 day trip to Shanghai either on Saturday or Sunday.

1. The nearest metro station from the West Lake is Longxiangqiao. From the hotel, you can walk to Wujiang Road station to take subway line 1 and get off at Longxiangqiao. Leave from exit C4 and walk along Pinghai Road to the scenic area.

2. In the East Railway Station, you can take the bullet (G or D) trains to Shanghai Hongqiao. You can buy the tickets upon your arrival, for there are a lot of trains running. Don’t worry.
