About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Am I eligible for the 72 -hours visa? In worst case scenario, can I issue one at Shanghai airport?

I have a flight from Canada to Hong Kong. Then I flight to Shanghai and then back to Canada.

John, you are eligible for the 72-hour free transit. Don't worry.

BTW, in normal cases, the Shanghai VOA is not available.
