About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Will I need a Visa? Thanks.

Greetings. I am a Canadian crusing from Tokyo to Beijing and will be spending less than 72 hours in Beijing, then I will be flying back to Vancouver.

Mary, since you are going to Beijing by ship, I'm afraid you are not eligible for the 72hr free transfer policy. Therefore, you should acquire a G type or L type entry permit before this trip.
