do drivers of the bus going to huairou speak english?

if no are there indicators that I have to get off?

Sherwin, the drivers and the ticket conductor seldom speak English. You can print out this and show it to the conductor "我要在怀柔北大街下车。到站请通知我。" If you are still worried that the conductor might forget to inform you when the bus arrives at the station, then you can show it to other passengers too. Some of them are willing to remind you when to get off.
