how much in advance to book for august

Question

If I want to go between major cities- Guilin-Shanghai-Beijing-Xian in August, how much in advance do I need to book the tickets? I don't know how quickly these routes sell out in August for hard sleeper. Thanks!

The tickets can be for sale 60 days within the deparure date usually. You can check the availability often once it becomes available. Sometimes for the middle or end of Aug, it can be a hot date as it is near the end for the summer holiday.
