About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

To get Chinese visa for travel purpose, an invitation letter from Tourism Bureau is needed.

How to get the letter? For a 6 day tour, what is the expected bank balance per person?

Upek, my suggestion is to find a qualified travel agency to arrange a trip for you. They are capable of helping you acquire the invitation letter from the tourism bureau. The bank statement is used to prove that you can afford to have a trip and return. Usually, you just need to provide your recent six months bank statement. But your money should cover your expenditure in PRC and return air ticket. The cost is per 100USD per day.
