Hi! I will visit Beijing on August and I want to go by flight to Zhangjiajie, is this possible?

Also I am a bit confussed about it. Zhang Jia Jie Scenic Spot and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve are a different place? I want to visit the "avatar" escenic spot and Tianmenshan.

Yes, you can travel by plane. Besides, trains are available between the two places if you want to save money; but duration is long, the shortest is about 22.5 hours.

Zhang Jia Jie Scenic Spot, also known as Wulingyuan, is very large and contains many smaller spots, Tianzi Mountain Reserve is one of them.
