Rat and rabbit. How can we blend our two very different temperaments without arguing?

Hello I am a rat born june29. 1960 & my boyfriend is a rabbit born June 21. 1951. I am much more outgoing than him but he seems always entertained by me. He also is very similar temperament to my father.
