What is the requirements when getting Visa to China? how many months would it take?

I have a friend in PRC and I'm going there for a Visit he lives in Zhianjang. How much does it cost?

Dianne, you should apply for an L type. The documents required by the embassy include your valid passport, a photocopy of the passport’s data page, a filled-out application form with a recent passport-type photo stuck on it, and an invitation from your friend. If it’s your first visit to PRC, a financial standing proof, such as bank statements, income tax return form, and salary slip, is also necessary.

The normal application process takes four working days and costs 1400 pesos.
