Old visa - new passport

I have a new passport and an old Chinese entry permit. Will I get granted a second entry, based on the double-entry one in my old, invalid passport, when presenting both, old and new passport (with new passport number) at the Hong Kong/China border?

Martin, if you just visit Hong Kong, you don't need the entry permit for a stay less than 90 days. However, if you want to visit mainland, I think there are some risks that you may be rejected by holding both passports. It is said that when you get a new passport, the China entry permit on your old passport will be invalid and you need to apply for new one.
