Hello!I would like to spend one weekend visiting the amazing Taining National Geopark. If I don't get wrong the fastest way to get to Sanming city is a D train from Xiamen which takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes, right?Can you please suggest me 2 days itinerary in that area? something that won't make me spend too much time sitting on a bus (because of health problems)Thanks in advance for your help :)Beatrice

Hey, there are direct D train runs from Xiamen place to Taining, which takes about 3 hours. So you don't have to transfer. Itinerary: as I know, the park include Shiwang, Golden Lake, Eight Immortals Cliff, Saixia Valley as well as the Taining Ancient City. Day 1: take D train to Taining. After arrival, you can spend half a day at the downtown area to feel the local culture and customs of the ancient city and visit the famous Golden Lake.Day 2: you can rent a car to the park, and spend one day there to explore the spendid Danxia Landform.BTW, if you only interested in the Danxia Landform in the park, you can just go there directly after you arrive in Taining.
