duty free liquor rules

I will be travelling from Melbourne to Beijing. The flight touches down in Shanghai on the way. If I buy duty free liquor in Melbourne, will they confiscate it from me in Shanghai airport, because of the "no liquids" rule?

John, so you just transit in Shanghai? Then you needn't be worried. Duty free products are usually packed very well. Especially the wine, they will be put in sealed bags. As long as you don't open then during your transit, they won't be confiscated.
