Documents needed for the application may include your passport, a photocopy of your passport’s data page, a completely filled application for with your personal color bare-head photo stuck on it, an invitation letter from your trade partner in China, and a statement from your company. After you enter China, if you successfully set up a company there, you can try to change the M type into a Z type at the local exit and entry administration office. If it is not feasible, you can try to extend the M type at the same place.
