About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

3 days unlimited travel pass

Can I input additional money (at the same time) into my 3 days unlimited MTR Pass so I can use the same card riding the HK city buses?

If you reload the airport express travel pass, it will function as the normal octopus card, which can be used on the city buses. However in that case, you cannot enjoy the preferential policies of the pass like unlimited ride.

Actually, you can top up the card at the same time you buy it. Then you can use it both on limited rides on MTR as well as city buses and ferries as a regular Octopus Card.
