About:Canton Tower

Getting to Canton Tower from Baiyun Airport

1. I know we take Line 3. Do we stay on it the entire way or is there a transfer? Someone told me we have to get off mid way and get another line 3 to the tower. Looking at the subway map it looks like it's straight there. Please help.

2. How much is the subway ticket round trip? How much is bus ticket? What's better? Thanks.

1. Oh, subway line 3 in this city consists of two parts. One is north extension section. Another one is the normal section.
You need to take subway line 3 (North Extension) at the airport first, and get off at West Tiyu Road Station. Then transfer to line 3 (Normal Section) to the tower station, Exit A. These two parts are two different subways. So that's the reason why you need to get off the mid way. :-)

2. The ticket fare of the round trip is CNY 16 per person. It takes around 50 mins on the way.
The ticket fare of airport shuttle bus line 10 is about CNY 50 per person for the round trip. It takes around an hour on the way. So subway is recommended and it will never ever be stuck in traffic jams.
