I'm an American citizen & at present visiting family in Canada.Planning to go to China by April 22nd

Can I obtain the visa from Toronto because I would like to go directly from here due to time shortage in my schedule.

Ghias, normally speaking, if you hold a valid Canadian entry permit, you can apply from there by providing all required documents along with the original and photocopy of your Canadian entry permit.
