About:Chinese Consulate in Montreal

Where and how to renew 3-star HK ID card issued in 1989 in HongKong?

My name is Chan, Yuk-Lan. I am born in Hong Kong. Now living in Montreal. I have a 3-star HK ID card issued in 1989. I want to renew it. Could I do it at the Chinese Consulate in Montreal? Could I apply HK ID card for my children also at this consulate? They are not born in HongKong though. Thank you.

Chan, I'm afraid you cannot renew your HK ID card nor apply for new HK ID cards for your children at the consulate. You have to do it at Hong Kong.
