Hello Jennifer, will you do this in Malaysia? If so, you should first have the contract notarized by a notary public, then have it authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, and finally have the contract attested by the embassy. The regular authentication process at the embassy takes four working days and costs MYR 160.
