As I know, there is no direct bus service for this trip. You can take a train or bus to Kashgar first. At the Kashgar International Long-distance Bus Station, only one direct bus to Sost is available each day.1

Yes.. another recommendation for a more comfortable journey, you can hire a cab from Kashgar to the Pakistani Border. The way is beautiful all along the Pamirs and cold deserts. It may even snow any time, even in the mid summers as well.0
