Visa expired. How to get new one?

Hello, I am a U.S. citizen. I traveled to China 2 times on my 1 year type. It is now expired. How do I rebuke it? Do I have to go through the entire proce again? And can I now apply for the 10 year one?
Thanks.
Chris.

Chris, I would suggest you apply for the 10 years one now. The requirements and the cost haven't changed. However, you have to make sure that your passport is valid more than 1 year.
