About:Chinese Embassy in Chile

Chinese visa in the third country

I'm an Italian citizen living in London, in august I will start a world tour by myself : Europe, north America, south America, new Zealand ,Australia, Japan, china, Singapore. I will be in shanghai the 31th of December; can I apply in Santiago where i will be staying only 8 nights in November from the 11th? The thing is that I can only apply 3 months before I go, so I can't apply in London in august.
Thanks for your assistance

Marissa, different Chinese embassies in different countries have different requirements. In some countries, the applicants like you can apply as long as they have valid visas or resident permits for employment, study or any other purpose. However, in some other countries, Philippines for example, those applicants don't have long term resident permits can't apply. They are required to apply from Chinese embassies in their own countries. So I think you need to confirm with the Chinese embassy in Santiago in advance.
