Gemini pig and scorpio snake?

I am a gemini pig and she is a snake scorpio. is there a chance we can make it work? we have been tbrough so much in the last 6yrs and have a baby together. It came to light that she had cheated recently and there was a complete breakdown with our lives over it. She is taking steps to be better. counseling medication. her problems stemmed from a lack of inner self worth. She says she feels different and sees things differently now and is being very loving and kind and the kind of her I always hoped she would be..Should I believe in her and see this through, or is this just a phase..I am so heartbroken over what she did but we have a baby and 6yrs I want it to work but am fearful it wont. anyone offer good optimistic advice here?
