Holidays in May

Hi I will be in Bangkok to reapply for a Chinese visa. I know May 1st is a national holiday, I was wondering if the embassy will be open on May 4th? Or if it would be possible to get my passport couriered to a hotel I will be staying at in Bangkok, as I am hoping to do some travelling within Thailand while I wait for my entry permit to be processed.

Darrick, the Labor Day holiday schedule remains unpublished now. You can call the embassy to learn about the exact information. Based on my experience, the embassy will be open on May 4th. The embassy does not provide mail-back service. If you want to travel within Thailand and not to take the hassle for picking up in person, you can entrust others or agencies to do this for you.
